Renewing Your Mind

Renewing Your Mind

Blessings,

I pray this finds you with ever-increasing clarity, trust, and faith.

Where are we after opening the heart and returning to ourselves?

In my own journey, I've found that the next natural step is the renewing of our minds.

In this past season, I've had to face my mind. The conditioned mind, and what some may call the dark mind.

As we travel along this journey of life, we encounter so many different minds, and we take on so many different states of mind that we can become confused in who we are... who we truly are.

The wisdom teachings all call us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds — to Elevate Your Mind.

So over this past season, I've been diving deeply into the mind of me. Seeing my ways mentally, emotionally, and also in action. By seeing my ways in action, I also began seeing my ways in thought.

Our lives are a product of our thinking. Yet because we receive so many impulses and so much stimulation, our minds become over-impressed with mental impressions. We begin picking up the collective mind. We begin picking up the collective way of being.

As I tuned out from the noise and tuned more deeply into myself, I began cutting away some of those impressions.

I had to renew my mind.

I had to really get into the way that I think and why I think the way that I do.

I asked myself, who put this seed here? Who put this doubt here? Who put this anger here? Who put this rage here? Who put these attitudes toward life, toward myself, toward my family, and even toward God? Who put these thoughts there?

I had to first face my mind before I could begin to transform my mind. And I still face that conditioned mind.

But I've also been equipped with the ability to know, to see, to affirm, and to treat myself as I am. For me, that's what this season has come down to. Seeing myself as I am. Not seeing myself as Londrelle the artist, as Londrelle the father, or Londrelle the visionary. Not even seeing myself as Londrelle the human being, but seeing myself as the I Am in Londrelle.

This season has shown me the many ways I've trapped myself. The many ways I've denied myself. The many ways I've abandoned myself. It's asked me to get very personal with me. To ask myself deeper and more intentional questions about the state of my mind... and about the way that I think. I truly believe and know I am transformed by the renewal of my mind.

Yes, I am.

If this resonates and you feel called, please journey with me for this month's 3-Day Meditation Series: Re-Envisioning Yourself.

I pray that it serves you well in this season.

With gratitude,

Londrelle
